Yesterday, it was a really fantastic day. Because, Sophia present hot kiss to me! That’s wonderful. I was fascinated by her kiss yesterday night! By the way, I sometimes think that culture shock roll away good things! What do you think about?
Hello, Hoi Hoi! I saw your picture of being kissed by Sophia on the AGU 2007 blog. Though I understand the fact that kissing is regarded as a kind of custom in the US, I would be suprised if I see that happen before my eyes because that's not what I usually see in Japan! But learning about a different culture from your own definitely makes you rethink about the Japanese culture, doesn't it?
Hiromi is right, I think. Experiencing a foreign culture allows us to see our own culture with different eyes. Americans hug and kiss more than Asians do, but not as much as some other peoples, e.g., Brazilians, Spaniards, Greeks, or French people. A kiss on the cheek doesn't mean anything more than "I like you." But it's a nice custom, I think!
Honestly I am not used to kissing people (besides my family) as a greeting, but I think it's a great custom! I am thinking I might want to try it too :D
I love kissing, too! Clearly. I think it is a really nice way to show someone that you like them or care about them. To me it is not really a romantic or "hot" gesture. I was also really interested in how it is viewed differently in Japan.
